These polished 10.25" & 12" Lodge Blacklock cast iron skillets have been professionally cleaned and polished to a mirror finish by Carolina Cast Iron using our sanding only process. No chemicals, ever. Just metal, skill, and elbow grease. Safe for cooking and built to last.
We sand the metal to give you a more even, naturally nonstick cooking surface. Far better than most factory pans.
Polish level:
Choose how much of the pan you want polished.
- Cooking surface only:
We polish the inside of the pan. bottom and inner walls only.
- Cooking surface & handle:
We polish the entire cooking surface and the handle for a more uniform look.
- Full pan polish
Every inch of the pan gets polished, inside and out.
NOTE!
We highly recommend you wash and season your cast iron when you receive it. Polished cast iron will turn a bronzy color when it's seasoned. This is completely normal. It still looks and cooks like a dream.
